Imagine the Possibilities with Fabric Printing

McRae Imaging is a pre-eminent provider of innovative, printed, and tensioned fabric solutions for the Tradeshow and Exhibits industry, the Retail marketplace as well as for Display Dealers and other markets.

We like to say our past was colourful, and our future is bright. McRae Imaging was founded in 1965 by Floyd McRae as McRae Custom Colour Labs. In 1997, Bob Murray along with partner Richard Kisiel, purchased McRae Imaging and set the company on an exciting path of expansion.

At the same time, McRae Imaging was one of the country's best shops for the reproduction of photographic images and prints. However, we recognized that the world was changing. Traditional photo finishing was being overtaken by digital technology. We quickly transitioned into digital imaging, and then looked for a new medium. And we found it ... with amazingly versatile fabric textiles.

We guarantee your image

Photo quality on fabric

We could see that the possibilities were immense, and became early adopters within the fabric printing business. Our main goal from the outset was to print a photographic image on a piece of fabric. From our photo background, we understood the technical issues involved with colour management. We were working with fabric colour profiling before the systems even existed. We basically set up our own profiles, and today our colour matching capabilities are second to none.

We leveraged our image reproduction expertise to quickly become the largest fabric printer in Canada, and one of the world’s leading graphics and custom structures companies in the area of exhibits and displays. We are now rapidly emerging into the retail and other selected markets such as business interiors.
